process and distribute donated human eyes
and tissue for sight-saving transplants.
We are a non-profit community care program,
providing on-sight and in-home services
for older adults and adults living with disabilities.
Our goal is to enhance social, intellectual and physical well-being.
We are a non-profit 10-bed residential hospice,
providing 24-hour comfort and care to adults
with life-limiting illness, and their families.
If you are at least 55 years of age or under 55 living with a physical disability, you are eligible to become a participating member of The Second Mile Club. You can join one or all Recreation Centers and participate in a variety of recreational and educational programs weekly.
If you are not sure if The Second Mile Club’s recreational and educational programs are right for you, we encourage you to drop by one of our branches, free of charge, to try out our programing for a few weeks.
Our $30 annual membership entitles you to participate at all five recreation centre locations, Monday through Friday.
Our $10 annual membership entitles you to participate at one of the single day locations, East Toronto, High Park, Lawn Bowling or Alley Bowling.
Annual membership runs from September 1 to August 31 each year; however, membership fees are prorated in accordance with when you join.
