with University of Toronto’s Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences.
We are a non-profit Eye Bank. We collect,
process and distribute donated human eyes
and tissue for sight-saving transplants.
We are a non-profit community care program,
providing on-sight and in-home services
for older adults and adults living with disabilities.
Our goal is to enhance social, intellectual and physical well-being.
We are a non-profit 10-bed residential hospice,
providing 24-hour comfort and care to adults
with life-limiting illness, and their families.
Our Recreation Centers are open to all older adults and adults living with physical disabilities in Toronto. We offer a range of activities including line dancing, oil painting, lawn bowling, computer courses and group lunches. The cost for membership is $30 per year. This membership includes access to all five locations of The Second Mile Club in Toronto, Monday through Friday.
For people who may only want to attend one day per week, we also have a one-day recreation centre membership that costs $10 per year.
